Designs and fabricates custom circuit boards from scratch. Recent project: a pocket FM radio — component selection sourced through DigiKey, schematic capture and board layout done in KiCad, hand-soldered and tested. The whole pipeline, from idea to working hardware.

If a part doesn't exist, print it. If the printer can't do it, figure out how it can. Functional prints, enclosures for electronics projects, jigs, tools, prototypes — the machine stays warm.

Currently in town helping a friend with a first-floor renovation — hanging and finishing drywall, running trim, all the detail work that makes a room feel right. The kind of person who shows up and just starts building.

Hunts Lake Superior agates — the real ones, banded iron formations tumbled by glaciers and scattered across the upper Midwest. Knows the beaches, the gravel pits, the right light. A collector's eye sharpened by a geologist's patience.
